Boosting Efficiency, Reducing Emissions

New Turbo Blower System Installed on PM4 with Support from the Environmental Protection Fund Natron-Hayat has successfully completed the project “Vacuum System Modification – Turbo Blowers (PM-4)”, aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact through the optimization of the vacuum system on Paper Machine 4 (PM4).

The project involved the procurement and installation of the equipment, including turbo blowers, a rectangular silencer, low-vacuum fans and new pipe materials. These upgrades have significantly reduced energy losses and harmful gas emissions.

The initiative was co-financed by the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a contribution of 45,846.41 BAM, as part of the Fund’s 2024 public call for projects.
